12 pounds which is perfect according to my midwife!

 Maternity clothes?
Oh yes. YES YES YES. I still need to buy more shirts though.

Stretch marks?
Nope.

Best moment this week:
Baby shopping. Hitting all the sales!

Miss anything:
Sleeping on my stomach

Movement:
All. The. Time. And I love every moment of it.

Food cravings:
Good hearty meals. Like meat, potatoes, and veggies.

Anything making you queasy or sick:
nope!

Have you started to show yet:
 YES.

Gender:
BOY! Boy! BOYY! All boy.

Labor Signs:
No, no, no!

Belly Button in or out?
Still in.No changes.

Wedding rings on or off?
Not really. My fingers were so swollen last night, I was lucky to get it off.

Happy or Moody most of the time:
Happy with myself and the baby. still annoyed that Jared won't help out. lol. He's on my shitlist this week.

Looking forward to: Just getting closer and closer to the due date. And getting the nursery finished little by little. It's so much fun!

your baby's the size of a pomegranate!
At 10.5 inches and about 12.7 ounces, she's big enough now that you've probably been feeling her movements.

"Pressure’s on. Have you found the perfect baby name yet? It seems like parents-to-be either come up with baby’s name quickly and easily, or agonize over it all the way up until the birth. Either way, once you find one that seems perfect, you’ll probably think it’s even more perfect once you get to know (and fall in love with) the little bundle of joy who’ll go by it. At 21 weeks, not only are you likely to be looking anywhere and everywhere for baby name ideas, but you might be getting a sneak preview of some third trimester symptoms, such as leaky boobs, Braxton Hicks contractions and heartburn. While your body preps for baby’s arrival, you’re probably hard at work getting your home ready too. Of course, things like baby bouncers and changing table pads can be tough to choose from, but try not to stress. Baby won’t care if you pick out a playard that clashes with the area rug." - thebump.com

No leaky boobs for me or Braxton Hicks contractions. But I do have heartburn!

                                           your baby at 21 weeks
  • As her digestive system preps for the outside world, she's manufacturing meconium -- the tarry black substance you'll find in her first dirty diaper (ew)!
  • If it's a girl, she's already got a lifetime's supply of eggs in her womb -- about six million of them!

 pregnancy symptoms at 21 weeks
  • Some heartburn and/or indigestion. Avoid spicy and greasy foods and other triggers.
  • Braxton Hicks contractions. Your uterus might occasionally feel tight as it practices for labor.
  • Leaky boobs. Your milk ducts will be fully developed by the end of this trimester.
  • Dry, itchy skin, from all that stretching over your growing bump.
  • Stretch marks. You skin gets pulled thinner as baby grows. Don't worry, they should fade significantly after birth.

Week #20!!

How far along? 20 weeks! If I go full term and I pray I do, then I'm half way done! Woot!!!

Total weight gain/loss: I will know tomorrow at my midwife appointment. Yikes! lol

Maternity clothes? Oh yes. YES YES YES. I'm in my husbands shirts for p.j.'s now. lol

Stretch marks? Not yet. but my stomach feels super tight and just awful. I keep it lotioned up to keep elasticity but who know. :)

Best moment this week:  BABY SHOPPING. We got a tons more things.

Miss anything: Being comfortable. I'm been having a lot of nerve pain and just downright sore and miserable. lol. It's hard to walk and sleep....

Movement: OMG yes. Very much so.This was the first week I felt him from the outside. He kicked my hand but I've only been able to do it once.

Food cravings: MEAT. Steak! all I want is steak, potatoes, and veggies! Oh and soda.. and I'm not a soda drinker at all..

Anything making you queasy or sicknope!

Have you started to show yet: YES.

Gender: BOY! Boy! BOYY!

Labor Signs: No, no, no!

Belly Button in or out? still in. lol.

Wedding rings on or off? On! but only in public. I hate wearing jewelry in general. And my hands and feet at actually swollen right now.

Happy or Moody most of the time: Annoyed. Jared refuses to pick up some slack since I'm having trouble moving.

Looking forward toTomorrow! My big mid-appointment. I get another in depth ultrasound. I'm excited for it but I hate getting the ultrasounds because they make me cramp and feel sick. I get it recorded though!

your baby's the size of a banana!
"Baby weighs about 10.2 ounces and measures about 6.5 inches. She's still got a lot of growing to do though. Can you believe you're halfway done?

Congrats! You almost reached the halfway point. Making it to 20 weeks probably feels pretty darn good. After all, your energy’s high and as long as your partner is up for it, things are probably happening between the sheets. Of course, it wouldn't be pregnancy if you weren't experiencing some annoying symptoms. Right now, it’s likely swelling, heartburn and leg cramps, but all of that probably feels insignificant now that you've got ultrasound photos of your rapidly developing baby. How cute is that nose? If you found out baby’s sex, you’re in a completely new mindset, are we right? Now, those baby names you’re throwing out are more likely to end up as baby’s, and when you find yourself in a baby store, those little blue or pink outfits aren't just adorable, they’re must-haves. And since now you can add clothes and other boyish or girlish things to your wish list, week 20 is the time you probably want to start putting together your baby registry too. Happy shopping!" - thebump.com

Energy high? Whats that? HAHA -  Already know the gender and name. :)

your baby at 20 weeks
  • She's got working taste buds.
  • Now, she's gulping down several ounces of amniotic fluid each day -- that's significantly more than before.

Miss anything: sleeping and not having nerve pain.

Movement: OMG yes. Very much so.

Food cravings: MEAT. and taco bell. I know. It's bad but all i want are bean and cheese burritos!

Anything making you queasy or sicknaw...although I've gagged over nothing a few times.

Have you started to show yet: YES.

Gender: BOY! Boy! BOYY!

Labor Signs: No, no, no!

Belly Button in or out? still in. lol.

Wedding rings on or off? On! but only in public. I hate wearing jewelry in general.

Happy or Moody most of the time: Moody. Jared has been annoying the crap out of me lately. lol.

Looking forward toNext appointment is the big long ultrasound where they will record the whole thing on DVD and then I'll be able to upload it on FB for my friends and family to see. :)

your baby's the size of a mango!
At about 6.0 inches long and weighing in at about 8.5 ounces, she's getting there!

"At 19 weeks, you’re probably getting psyched for your mid-pregnancy ultrasound. Most parents-to-be think of this test as the chance they get to find out baby’s sex. But you actually will see a lot more than baby’s boy or girl parts. The ultrasound technician will scan pretty much scan all of baby’s body to make sure everything’s developing properly. Don’t leave the place without getting some printouts from the scan to take home with you and show off. Of course, going in for your test isn’t the only thing you should be planning ahead for around week 19, you should also probably start the search for a pediatrician. Start by asking some family and friends for recommendations and then make a few appointments to meet with the docs. So what do you think it is -- a boy or a girl?" - thebump.com

A BOY!....

your baby at 19 weeks
  • Developing a protective coating over her skin, called vernix caseosa. It's greasy and white and you may see some of it at her birth.
  • Working on her five senses. Nerve cells for her sense of taste, hearing, sight and smell are developing in her brain.
