Week #41..Yes, I'm still Pregnant

How far along: 41 weeks with no signs of labor at all.
Total weight gain: Total is 33lbs up from pre-pregnant weight.
Maternity clothes: Of course! Or size L/XL shirts. lol.
Stretch marks: ..Yes. None that are bad though. I have a feeling they will fade in time.
Sleep: Absolutely not!
Best moment of this week: Washed all the dogs, and washed all laundry around the house.. dog beds, carpets, rugs, etc. Everything. I want everything clean!
Miss anything: Being comfortable. Being able to breathe.
Movement: He's still very active. Always moving. Always having hiccups.
Food cravings: ICEES. anything COLD. and steak.
Anything making you queasy or sick: Nope.
Have you started to show yet: Ya think?
Gender: Boy!!
Labor signs: Nope. Nada. Zilch.
Belly button in or out: It's leveled with the rest of my stomach. lol
Wedding rings on or off: I haven't worn any rings in a long time. I'm dealing with swelling since Summer hit. And my feet are something the midwives are watching since they are bad! lol
Happy or moody most of the time: Happy! I want him here!
Looking forward to: My ultrasound tomorrow to make sure everything is okay in there and seeing my little. Also, talking to the midwife about getting this boy out to greet us! <3

41 weeks pregnant
"You might not have envisioned yourself ever being 41 weeks pregnant, but rest assured that plenty of moms-to-be go past their due date. Your OB may start to discuss the option of having a labor induction at this point, since babies that go too far past their due date may be at higher risk for problems. Make sure you ask the doc plenty of questions about what’s involved and what the risks are. And know that getting induced does have some positives (like not having to rush to the hospital while in labor!). At week 41, your doctor may also order a nonstress test, to be sure baby’s still doing okay in there. This will probably help both of you make a decision whether or not to induce." - thebump.com
Your baby's the size of a jackfruit!
Because of your baby's extra time in the womb, he'll likely be heavier and more alert at birth than a baby born earlier.

your baby at 41 weeks
  • As you await his arrival, he's plumping up a bit more.
  • And he's growing his hair and nails even longer.
