Wedding rings on or off: On, on the days that I actually wear them..which I am trying to do more these days so I don’t look a hussy;)
Happy or moody most of the time: So happy.

"Your due date is just four weeks away. Hasn’t time flown? Your once-poppy seed would probably be able to breathe on his own if he was born right now. (If not, he’d probably need some TLC, but he’d likely be okay.) Most of his systems are in working order at 36 weeks. Since baby really could decide to make his arrival any day now, try to put in a little prep work. For example, if you took a child birth class a few months ago, you might want to reread any materials you were given and practice some of the breathing techniques you learned with your partner. Go over your plan for getting to the hospital, and all the what-ifs (like, if you go into labor while you’re at work, will you go home first or straight there?). You might also want to remind your boss and colleagues of the status of all your work projects, so they know exactly where to take over if you’re suddenly out of the office. Week 36 is also a good time to enjoy a date with your partner. We’re guessing you won’t be up for dancing, but a nice dinner might be just what you two could use." - thebump.com
Your baby's the size of a honeydew!
She's still in the 17.2- to 18.7-inch and 4.2- to 5.8-pound range and continues to beef up.

your baby at 36 weeks
  • She's getting closer and closer to being able to breathe on her own.
  • Her skin is getting smooth and soft and her gums are rigid.
  • Her liver and kidneys are in working order.
  • Circulation and immune systems are basically good to go, too.

35 weeks pregnant

"Growing, growing, growing. Yup, baby and you. You’ve reached 35 weeks, and your uterus has grown about 1,000 times its original size, a number that might sound exaggerated to everyone else -- but to you it probably feels more like a million. You can expect to gain about a half-pound a week before birth, and baby’s beefing up, too. At 35 weeks, some moms-to-be feel like they have a ton of stuff left to do before baby’s arrival. Others can barely wait for baby to make his debut. Either way, try not to stress. Baby will show up when he’s ready, and he won’t care if you haven’t checked every little detail off your list." thebump.com
Your baby's the size of a coconut!
He's about 17.2 to 18.7 inches. From here on out, he won't get much longer, but he's plumping up. He's now about 4.2 to 5.8 pounds, and he'll put on a pound or more of baby fat before birth.

your baby at 35 weeks
  • Now, his hearing is fully developed, and he responds best to high-pitched noises.
  • If it's a boy, his testes have probably fully descended.

Week #34

How far along: 34 weeks
Total weight gain: gained  29lbs total - Lost a lb. ... just a single pound. lol.
Maternity clothes: Bought myself some leggings today and more sandals... haha.. Thats really all that's comfortable.
Stretch marks: The creams, lotions, and potions I use really do help with itching.. which is what is supposed to cause stretch marks. So I'm all good. :)
Sleep: NO....
Best moment of this week: Shopping. Like every week. And my birthing class that lasted 9 hours was pretty neat too.  I learned a lot and it's nice seeing my husband stand his ground with what he believes and asking questions. :)
Miss anything: Walking without swollen feet, wearing my wedding ring. Having energy.
Movement: It's intense. He gets more and more active every single day.
Food cravings: ..Hmm... smoothies. I can't really eat a lot anymore. I get full fast.. which is new for me. haha
Anything making you queasy or sick: Got sick this morning randomly. which is so odd. I have such bad heartburn.. I just vomited in my kitchen.
Have you started to show yet: Duh
Gender: Boy!!
Labor signs: Still just the Braxton Hicks.
Belly button in or out: Depends on the baby's position. Sometimes it's flat with my tummy, other times it's half in.
Wedding rings on or off: On, on the days that I actually wear them..which I am trying to do more these days so I don’t look a hussy;)
Happy or moody most of the time: So happy.
Looking forward to: Hitting FULL TERM!!! <3

"Watch what you say! Your curious baby is listening in to your conversations at 34 weeks -- and might enjoy a lullaby or two -- so go ahead and sing to him. Some say that baby will recognize songs mom sings while he’s in the womb, and may even be more easily soothed by them if he’s used to them once he’s on the “outside.” At week 34, you might breathe a little easier, since baby may descend lower into your pelvis and give your lungs some space. (Ahh!) Of course, some babies don’t do this until the day they’re born, so we’re not making any guarantees. The pitfall of this descent, of course, is even more pressure on your bladder, so be prepared to make even more trips to the ladies room over the coming weeks." - thebump.com
Your baby's the size of a butternut squash!
At less than two months to go, he weighs in at about 4.2 pounds to 5.8 pounds and measures about 17.2 to 18.7 inches.

your baby at 34 weeks
  • He's recognizing and reacting to simple songs, if you're singing them. (If you're not, start! He may find them soothing after birth.)
  • He's also urinating about a pint a day.

Photos of the nursery so far....

My glider. I'll be spending many hours in this. And it's oh so comfy... with the Star Trek blanket I made. And Jared has a fascination with chubby animals.. hence why you will see a hippo, a pig, a cow.. in the room...that Jared has bought.

The crib. Baby E won't be sleeping in here for a while, but I wanted it looking cute. He'll be sleeping with me in an Arm's Reach Co-Sleeper for the first few months...And that's Rocky's butt in the way. (Disclaimer: I'm aware of the dangers of bumpers. They will be taken out once baby is moved to the crib along with the pillow and toys.) E's name is over the crib in big wooden letters that match the bedding. It's super cute!!

The Cloud B Tranquil Turtle. Best night light ever. Retails for about $38 on their website. And the Baby Book that I've started to write in. :)

Just a cheap Skip Hop Diaper Bag. Retails for about $65.00. I wanted a fancy Ju-Ju-Be or a Petunia Pickle Bottom but I couldn't justify $200 for a bag that's going to carry booger wipes, crumbs, and diapers....even though I splurged on almost everything else, I'm just not an accessory type of girl anyway. It does the job.. AND, it's all packed ready to go to the birthing center when "the time comes". ;)

I cannot wait till I do a photo shoot with baby E wearing this. It says "Captain"... and it's genuine vintage.

Just part of his nursery.. thank you Hobby Lobby for your amazing stuff. The bell is very loud too, so don't ring it. lol.

His closet. It's still a mess. But I have his Bumbo, the tray for it, shopping cart cover for when he's older, my Boba wrap/carrier, pack of organic disposable diapers. (Yes, we are cloth diapering but the disposables are till the meconuim stage is over.) My breast pump!!! and a whole box of extra accessories that go with it. The pump is possibly the most expensive thing in this closet. They are not cheap! And hanging up are clothes..and that black organizer thing is holding junk. lol. All the manuals for everything, books, toys, a hamper bag, I don't even know to be honest.

That black mesh can thing looks small in the photo but it's huge! And full of toys are aren't even going to be used to a long time. The white think holds hats in the top drawer, socks in the middle, and shoes in the bottom drawer....

Two breastfeeding pillows. I think one will stay in the bedroom or nursery and another will stay in the living room... and some limited edition Lincoln logs. lol.

Lots of books, and clothes that are over size 6 months.. a bounce chair on the bottom, and more toys....I think that's a train...

My cloth diaper stash!...

And the carseat.. sitting.. and waiting.. I cannot wait to see little E in it!!

I have more to still do.I need curtains.. they have been ordered, I'm still waiting on them to arrive.. I need to organize a bit more.. wash everything, and steam clean the carpets. This was Jared's man cave and he got some grease spots on the carpet.. and it's driving me insane. I think when everything is finished, I'm going to do a video tour of the baby's bathroom, nursery and our room.. where he'll be sleeping and everything. I cannot wait to do that!!! :D

Week #33

How far along: 33 weeks! If I went into labor in 4 weeks... I'd be considered full term! This is too crazy.
Total weight gain: 30lbs up total still.
Maternity clothes: Indeed. I'm wearing a new maternity shirt in the photo actually.
Stretch marks: No new ones from what I've already stated. the front of my belly looks great!.. so far...
Sleep: What's that? Last night was awful. I tossed and turned the WHOLE night. I just cannot breathe no matter what angle or side I sleep on.
Best moment of this week: Everything I ordered last week, came in the mail this week! It's like Christmas getting packages. Everything was the right product and turned out great!!
Pretty Kitty! <3

33 weeks pregnant

"We’d tell you to take a deep breath and relax, but it’s probably tough to do either of those at 33 weeks. It’s probably tough to be comfortable at all, since you might be feeling overheated on top of your other symptoms, too. But you’re probably getting super excited to meet baby, and we can’t blame you. Week 33 is a good time to make sure you have a safe car seat for baby -- go ahead and install it already. Sure, you might not see baby for another month, but if you have an early surprise arrival, that’s the one thing you really need to have ready." - thebump.com
Your baby's the size of a durian!
He weighs about 4.2 to 5.8 pounds and measures about 17.2 to 18.7 inches. And he may grow up to a full inch this week -- amazing.

your baby at 33 weeks
  • He's keeping his eyes open while awake.
  • He's also starting to coordinate breathing with sucking and swallowing.
  • His bones are hardening.
  • And he going through (more) major brain development -- that's one smart baby!
